Q: Is the Goat Man real?

Q: Do you have to climb the trestle to see the Goat Man?
A: No! While it is thought the Goat Man uses the trestle to lure his victims to their death, the Goat Man is actually believed to inhabit the forest surrounding the trestle. In fact, it is STRONGLY encouraged that you do not seek the Goat Man by climbing the Pope Lick trestle. It is a highly active train trestle and incredibly dangerous. Anyone caught on Norfolk Southern property will be prosecuted to fullest extent of the law.

Q: Is there an age limit for Legend at Pope Lick?
A: No. However, due to the graphic nature, it is not recommended for small children, toddlers or babies. We have had young children go through and have a great time. We have also had adults who go through that are in tears! You're the parent- you be the judge. A good rule of thumb is: if you wouldn't bring your child to a PG-13 rated movie, it's probably not a good idea to bring them to a haunted house. It is also recommended that the child be able to walk through the haunted attraction on their own. If they can't walk themselves, it's probably not a good idea to bring them to a haunted house. Do remember that regardless of age, the ticket price remains the same.
